03 · Teardown
Residential and light commercial demolition
We take down houses, garages, barns, outbuildings, slabs and in-ground pools — and we take the debris with us. Utilities get disconnected and capped properly, the permit gets pulled, and the hole gets backfilled and compacted.
Teardowns on Lake Norman lots are usually about what happens next. If you are rebuilding, we can roll straight from demolition into clearing, grading and footings without handing the site to another contractor.

- Concrete slab, driveway and foundation removal
- In-ground pool demolition — full removal or engineered fill-in

Demolition questions
Do you pull the demolition permit?
Yes. We file with the county, schedule the utility disconnects and handle the inspections. You do not need to chase any of it.
Can you fill in a swimming pool instead of removing it?
We can, and it is cheaper — but it has to be done right. The shell gets punctured for drainage, the walls come down below grade, and the fill goes in compacted in lifts. A pool filled without engineering will settle and it must be disclosed when you sell.
